integrity and objectivity.
- A member will be certain about his qualifications to
perform any assignment which he accepts.

clear that the only purpose is to use his name and reputation

planned, or where the member's freedom of independent
analysis and recommendation is restricted.
- A member can be depended upon to be truthful and
forthright in his observations and recommendations.
- A member will respect all information relating to the
confidential affairs of his employer.
- A member will not accept fees, commissions, or any other
valuable consideration from organizations whose equipment,
supplies, or services he may recommend.
- A member will avoid all contact or practice likely to
discredit or do injury to the profession.
- A member will not directly or indirectly injure the
professional reputation, prospects, or practice of another
analyst.
- A member will endeavor to merit the esteem of colleagues
who subscribe to these standards; however, he will condemn
unethical or illegal conduct by others which may come to his
attention.
