The Florida Society of Environmental Analysts invites you to attend a Region 3 Hot Topics workshop presented by Shepherd Technical Services. This workshop is being offered on Tuesday January 7, 2020 at the City of Tavares Utility Administration Building, 1000 Captain Haynes Road, Tavares, 32778 and will be a full day workshop with lunch provided. The workshop is limited to 35 people.  CEUs may be offered for this workshop.

This interactive workshop is designed to cover topics that have been requested by members in the region. The topics covered will be: the 2016 TNI Standards; the new MDL procedure; calibration requirements; and Standard Methods interpretations. If you have specific Standard Methods questions please either email them to secretary@fsea.net or bring them with you to the workshop.

Dr. Michael Shepherd and Mei Beth Shepherd operate Shepherd Technical Services, LLC. The STS team has successfully offered and provided assessment services for several NELAP state accreditation bodies (“ABs”) including the Florida Department of Health (FL-DOH), the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), The Minnesota Department of Health (MN-DOH), Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ), and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE). 

Beyond assessments for NELAP ABs, STS also provides assessment services for the Department of Defense Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (DoD ELAP) and ISO/IEC 17025 under the auspices of ANAB.

Meeting registration may be completed online at www.fsea.net.  Alternatively, you may complete the attached registration form and fax it to (941) 748-5720 or e‐mail it to secretary@fsea.net.  All registrations (online, forms, and fees) must be received no later than Friday January 3, 2020.  Meeting fees are for current members.  If your membership is not current, be sure to complete the non-member portion of the registration, either online or on the form, and pay your membership fees along with your workshop fees. This will update your membership for one year.

Water or wastewater operators - CEUs may be offered for this workshop. (check back for update on CEUs)
