Workshop 1 - Ethics for Analytical Staff (10:00am - 12:00pm)
This two-hour workshop is designed to meet the TNI-required ethics training expectations for bench-level analytical staff. The training will focus on practical “do” and “do not” expectations for analysts, with emphasis on ethical decision-making, data integrity, and individual responsibility in the generation of defensible laboratory data.
Participants will work through real-world examples and team-based scenarios designed to strengthen critical thinking skills and help analysts recognize and appropriately respond to ethical concerns, improper practices, and potential data integrity risks.
Workshop 2 - Ethics for Management (1:00pm - 3:00pm)
This two-hour workshop will focus on ethics and data integrity from a management perspective. Topics will include promoting a culture of integrity within the laboratory, identifying potential risks to data quality, recognizing warning signs of improper practices, and effectively handling data integrity concerns or investigations.
The workshop will also address the role of management in setting expectations, supporting ethical decision-making, documenting concerns, and maintaining systems that promote accountability and defensible laboratory operations.
Participants will receive a certificate for attendance. If attending online, we ask that each participant please register so we know who to send the certificates to. Because each individual will receive a certificate there is no group pricing being offered. Click here to register.
Webinar details with the WebEx meeting ID and password will be sent via e-mail a few days prior to the start of the workshop and will only be sent to those that are registered.
Workshop #1 will start at 10:00am and end at 12:00pm. Workshop #2 will start at 1:00pm and end at 3:00pm.
